We all know that President Obama took the oath of office on Tuesday, putting his hand on Abraham Lincoln's Bible, as millions watched in person and on TV. But he took it again Wednesday night(7:43 PM PST) in the privacy of the White House, with only a few aides and reporters looking on.

It is because, Chief Justice Roberts stumbled over the oath's opening words, and Obama repeated them back, incorrectly.

Also Senator Kennedy collapsed at a luncheon, who 's in a hospital.

and what difference does him taking the oath again make ?

but yeah i watched his 'first' oath live and it sure was funny with all those stumbles :))

Must have been the -10*C temperature. Anybody's teeth would have been rattling.

Yeah, I saw that on TV. The noo prez of US started smiling at that point. Ahh well, there's something for ragging the 'freshier' president with!

Who cares if he takes oath again. The real question is 'will he follow it'?
