Hi, I get many mails talking about cheap and genuine OEM
softwares in CDs like MS XP, Office etc,... being sold for very less
like 80$.

Is it really legal ? :?

Is it worth buying such OEM CDs without box and manuals :?: :!: :?

OEM sofware :
Original Equipment Manufacturer
these arent supposed to be resold
henc i think they are illegal
these are provided to OEM's to bundle with their products
for eg. the windows xp cd that came with ur new laptop/desktop !

ya, i agree theravan. OEM r not supposed to be resold.

But, i think u can give OEM softwares along with the system.
this is a catch. and i think u can argue that it is legal.
am i rite. comments?

Also some OEM softwares will not work in any PC/Hardware except the bundled ones.So it's better to not buy them.
