I don't like Panda. I have an image for Panda opposite to yours.

-> It's system heavy, slow on scanning and has very poor UI.

-> Update feature didn't work sometimes in the Antivirus edition.

-> I kicked it out even before 30 days could end...

is there anyway to turn off its real time module to use it only as on Demand scanner ?

^^ You can disable the real time scanner.
But you can't exit it. Tried to end task of Panda from Task manager, but the process couldn't end.
Preventing it to be invoked from StartUp can work. Didn't tried that.
