pc to HDTV using dvi

hi guys
i need help on how to connect my pc to hdtv
my pc has only one dvi port through my graphics card geforce 9400gt
my hdtv has only one hdmi port
1. if i use an hdmi to dvi cable male to male (assuming those are available )
i wont get audio right ? how do i handle audio in this case
2. can i get a dvi to hdmi adapter and an hdmi to hdmi cable will that setup be able to transmit audio as well

thanks but are u sure it will work, and also will it really transmit audio i mean does dvi have wires for audio transmission if they dont how will using an adapter help audio transmission
