Hi,
At last got money to buy a phone. Budget strictly limited to 4-5k. Want a handset preferably from nokia. Main requirement: must be able to run java midp 2.0 apps, should have EDGE.
Thanks.

in ur budget Nokia 6303 classic and 5130 r the best

if u wanna try SE look for SE Naite..

Nokia 5130 XpressMusic.

What about 2730? Its got 3g....

Wait 4 X2... It is much better than 5130...

nokia 6303 for now
will be little more than 5k

This month's digit show its price 8450rs, I was told by a seller that it was 7700 in Bangalore..

^^On road price can differ from city to city and shop to shop...it can be Rs.7700 in banglore

Checked univercell.in, the online purchase price is 5529rs indeed.. www.univercell.in/mobiles/displayMobileDetails?productId=28051 ,.. But the street price is 8450..

I would suggest LG KP500 cookie. This is available for Rs.5000 from *www.univercell.in/mobiles/displayMobileDetails.action?productId=27642. Since your requirement is EDGE, java; this suits well or go with Nokia 7230 for 5.7k (Got 3g, 3mp camera)

Nokia X3!!

Samsung Corby TXT? how about this phone?
