Guys, can anyone please suggest any tool similar to photoshop for my Ubuntu. Currently I am using GIMP image editor, but its hard to understand. Please suggest me any alternative for GIMP which is easy to understand and operate. Thanks

have you tried Pixel image editor (photoshop lie image editing tool for linux)?
You may also try to install photoshop in ubuntu using wine.

Picasa... Its free... easily catalogues photos and videos and easy to search... It makes basic but effective collages...
If you want collages where the images have to integrate seamlessly then you will have to invest your time with higher image editors like gimp / Paint .NET

Adobe Stock Photos or Adobe Lightroom. I think they are free too.

Photoshop or picasa both are pretty good choice.
