please help me.cant play mp 4 videos in these 2 ie the tv and the dvd player.why.is ther any free software to convert MP4 into a compatible software which can play on both of these like JPEG/MPEG 1?i want a safe software-not one that will add something else and sort out my search engine also.

try xmedia recode.

Try Format factory. Best free converter.

I will not suggest you any conversion as it will worsen quality of video I heard some Chinese usb drive like device will enable playback of all formats in tvs.I Suggest you to search for them.
