What's so special about your desktop that you had to create a separate thread ignoring the sticky thread? Frankly, looks kiddish with bunch of over sized widgets.

i go with amitav the widgets are too oversised and look at your cursor? OMG is that a Window or what?

I like big widgets so I have resized them. There is an option in the widget preferences to resize the widget.

It's not the cursor it's a object added while I was editing the image using snagit. I have hidden the original cursor.

It's Windows XP Skinned using Skinsfactory's Hyperdesk.

+1 i love my desktop with simple yet cool wallie. Your theme will chew too much resource making slow startups. But useit if you like it.

i have :

AMD athlon 64 x2 4200+
Nvidia 8400 GT
2 GB DDR2
Hitachi deskstar 7200rpm 80gb HDD

Desktop : simple not modified without wallpaper.
Heavy content : Assassins Creed and uTorrent
Disk space in c : 8/16 gb

Boot to login time : 5min

highly cluttered and garish colors... absolutely no sense of color matching.

Actually we should respect every thread post , that we know about or talk abt it , he just took his time to share his desktop styles with us that be really welcomed .

Ur desktop is fine but use some color full concepts and gadgets to be used with ur desktop

He used Yahoo widgets its very nice , but bigger looks .

If he had used the wallpapers relating to the widgets then it might be wonderfull

Hyperdesk.com seems to be great, But you need very high Random memory for creating such desktops and ensuring that the boot-reboot is fine!!!

Mine's here, just bare minimalistic, none too flashy. I like to actually see my wallpapers not just a digital rug in the background.
