Actually the processor and the motherboard were an upgrade to my old pc.I did not replace the hard disk, being tight on budget.Still i got a read score of 5000 MB/s ,write score of 1688 MB/s and 57 ns memory latency!

The timings are good...but I think u can get better memory read/writtes......
Which and how many memory modules are u using??

Hmm .. the Hdd. do seem to be weak ... a 80 GB 7200 rpm would do quite good ...

Also .. i really hope ur Mobo can do some good oc'ing .. i'm really looking at 300*8 right now for the CPU which means ur 3000+ will be rated as 3800+ in no time ...

I just overclocked it to 2.02 GHz and I tried to run San Andreas, but it crashed.I 've got no extra fan installed in the cabinet.

Simply increasing the FSB isn't enough ... the mobo should let u manually set the CPU Multiplier , HT Multiplier , RAM freq. and the FSB .. only then can u expect a stable oc with an Athlon64 processor ... a freind of mine is having his 3000+ at 2.6 GHz all the time stable ...
