From past 4 year I am using LG B2000

I want to buy a Nokia Phone. My budget is 12K.

My main preference is for Camera Image Quality. Please suggest

N73 for camera and features or may be 7610 supernova

go for sony for best camera k810i remember no edge but

+1 for k810i if only camera is ur main priority. If u need an allrounder u can go for N73ME

I never found it to be slow.
Device might become slow if u put some 4Gb card but didn't find any issues with cam

^ 11 months 3rd degree treatment k baad phone abhi b zindha hai :shock:

and after 3g launch in india ... N73 blows K810i vs K790I in every field.....

but remember if you are one of them who needs a mobile for show off... caution N73 IS COMMON AND DOES NOT LOOK VERY GOOD.... I USED TO HAVE ONE AND MANY PEOPLE COMMENTED IT'S CHINA

..

N73 is a mind blowing mobile...

if you can add more bucks i suggest you to buy N78 you will get a lot of features..

and i fear that N73 shipping will stop soon and support of this device will be over soon...

But still it is one of the best mobile ever....

and one more thing N73 comes with pop-port that sucks d*ck......

another option is ZN5 though n73 is the best

N78 cost 13+ but got nearly all the features of N79 with it except camera

Offtopic :Really man these POP ports in SE and Nokia makes life soo miserable....I was much happy with 3110 having mini usb and 2.5 mm jack then my T700 having pop port getting loose everytime.

Its usual for those foolish shopkeepers to say that the production of a phone is stopped if they dont have stock of it, so they can sell whatever other crap they have ..

get n73me. Also last heard that n78 is around 12.8k somewhere. Its much better phone than n73 . Try to find n78 at that price.

if you can get N78 even for 14K just buy it ... it is MUCH better than N73

Actually I read in various popular review sites than N 73 ME has got a very slow processor. Also I used Handset of one of mine friend which is full of mp3's and :grin:

- He is using 2 GB Memory Card. On pressing the Menu button, the menu opened in 4-6 seconds.

So what you all wanna say regarding Processing Speed of N 73 ME? Also tell me the brickbats which you feel are present in N 73 ME.

P.S.: I have made my mind to get N 73 ME and it's costing 12,900/- here at Bhopal. Will buy it at the end of this month. But still I want opinions from you guys. Please help me again ;-)

It hardly takes a 1/2 sec to go to menu.......It depends upon the the way you use...

I don't wanna compare them. I just want personal opinion based on usage.

IMHO you should go for N78. When you are ready to buy a fone for 13k, then you should extend your budget for abou < 2k and get N78.

It is faster and has the newer version of Symbian and also has Wifi. Keypad sucks though but if you can live with it, then get N78.

Second fone which I can suggest is Motorola ZN5 which is for 14k here in Delhi. It has the best 5mp camera with very powerful Xenon flash and awesome music quality which is even better than the iPods. Wifi is also available & the OS is Linux based but 3G is not there which N78 has. ZN5 has the fastest 500mhz CPU.

Extend your budget & go for N78 or ZN5.

N73 ho gaya hai Nokia ki taraf se band and is living its last few days of the market.

@gagan N73 havnt stopped yet.
@mrintech as long as u dont load N73 wid tons of apps ,it runs pretty fast .and afaik u said u wont be installing too many apps. U wont get N78 anywhr coz it has stopped.

As already stated the cost of N 73 ME here is 12,900 so will I get a bundled memory card with it in the BOX.

Get n73 quickly coz its production has stopped....its not available many places...at 12900 u will surely get N73me which will have 2 gb memory card..

n73me comes with a 2gb memory card in the retail pakage...

as you want only cam and muzik, why dont you get a digicam for 7k, a mp3 player for 3k and nokia 3110c for 4k? According to me this is the best.

3110c can take casual snaps and provide music too.....any way if you want all in one then, n73 is the way to go.....

The battery has 1 yr warranty but should last 2.5 to 3 years easily.

I've nothing against N73me, I just wanted to make you aware of other mobiles slightly over your budget which I thought would be a better value for money.

But if you don't require those features, go ahead with N73me.

@utsav: N73 Production halt ho chuka hai. But N73 will will be able to stay in the market for quite some time. N78 kabh se bund ho gaya? Acha khasa toh bik raha hai.

^^N78 bahut kum jagah mil raha hai jahan pe old stock hai, i recently went to few shops in my city to get N78 for krates but it wasnt available anywhere including nokia priority and mobile store but N73 was available everywhere and almost evry 1 willing to get a N Series phone is getting N73 as N70 and N72 are too old so N73 becomes the cheapest N series device. As N78 is already stopped, nokia wont do the foolishness of stopping N73 coz they will lose the customers vying to get a N series phone below 15k
