7-zip is awesome, compresses much better than WinRAR (although WinRAR takes less time to compress).

WinRAR [ easiest interface ]

But i also use7-Zip extensively. Especially for extracting files.

One might say 7z compressed better but i've tested , results vary , sometimes 7z compressed more than RAR , sometimes less/

I am currently using 7-zip.
I like it mostly because it's an open source product. Before I knew this fact, I had used WinRAR and WinZip a lot of times.

+1 for WinRar. Though I have heard much about 7-zip, but I'm addicted to WinRar, so can't change. If need extreme compression, Uharc ftw. :)

I used IZArch but for some time I am using 7-zip. It's simple, small, and does it's job efficiently.

Addicted to winrar. Feel odd when see another icon for zip/rar/etc.. files other than WinRAR.

even I use winrar - still using version 3.80 -It's stable , easy to use, feature rich and feels good ;-)

Another one I use is ( for extracting files only ) Universal Extractor - it's very powerful and can even extract installer files and free to use ;-)

Use WinRAR as primary compressor.
But, it's becomes ugly, once the 30-day trial message starts to pop!! :-x
