I got a Lenovo E49 from my college. I'm a newbie, so can you please tell me how to take care of battery life and longer backups. Should I let the battery drain out completely for the first time and then charge fully to increase the battery life and backup as we do incase of mobile?

ContrPnl>HW&snd>Power opt.>select "change plan settings" for power saver mode > change advanced power settings > processor power mgmt >

there change min proc state 2 0%
& max proc state to a low setting (I set it 2 30% & get a bkup of 3.5-4 hrs for browsing/3hrs for movies on my G6-2005ax)

Finally apply>ok.

these were my :2cents:
