canon printer Ip1000 not printing any text.. wheether doc or pdf. .. no texts at all... wht can be the reason plx help..

see whether there's any "Update Patch" released for this issue in Canon's website.
My HP PSC 1402 also had similar problem, it wont print any Graphics in Docs, jus texts, but a Update patch was rreleased for this in HP website in this printer's page
