Hi all. I am in deep sorrow coz of my Dvd writers problem. The DVD writer (GWA 4080N)in my compaq V 2000 doesn't read cd's (not all but most of them). It perfectly reads all the Dvds and some cds. The cds which were burned in some other computer is not read by the drive. I have updated the Firmware but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me please! :-(:!:

In situations like these, the best thing to do is contact customer care. If it's under warranty, they'll get it replaced free of cost.
