My laptop's keyboard has started acting weird all of a sudden. The shift key is not working with these characters like 1,2,3,4,7,8,9,0,z,x,c,v,m. The right shift key works with Z,X,C,V,M but not with numbers. Is this a software issue?

I keep my laptop clean and dust does not seem to be an issue to me. Though I suspect humidity to be the reason but how can so many keys fail at once?

I dont have another keyboard to try. Onscreen keyboard works fine though

Try using a USB keyboard to find out is it a hardware or software issue
