well i have serious problem with airtel mms service
for 6 days i ranged them teling them my mms is not being sent frm my cell i use nokia 6600. they gave me setting to be downloaded and advance settign tht is to be written as i use nokia 6600 still it is not being send. when ever i call customer care service they say ur complaint is noted u will be contact in 48 hrs. its 6 days but no action can anyone of u help me

did you activated you GPRS and MMS in you Mobile. Once it activited only you can use MMS in your mobile.

How to Configure Airtel Live! Settings Manually

Under the Airtel Live! WAP profile in Settings:

Connection Name: Airtel Live!
Data Bearer: GPRS
Access Point Name: airtelfun.com
Username: MSISDN e.g. 91982xx xxxxx
Prompt Password: No
Password: < blank >
Homepage: *live.airtelworld.com
Connection Security: Off
Session Mode: Permanent
In case of the WAP 2.0 complaint phones, the following extra settings need to be done:

Under Options > Advanced Settings

Phone IP Address: Automatic
Primary name server: 0.0.0.0
Second. Name server: 0.0.0.0
Proxy server. address: 100.1.200.99
Proxy port number: 8080

Then First Send MMS to your own Number. If it works then you can Send MMS

i m using airtel frm goa maharastra is there any changes to be made for setting .. and of course activated gprs

aare baba i m not on roaming i m residing in goa only maharastra and goa r in same circle

May be Sometime Airtel Network get problem sending MMS. This was happend for my friends in B'lore and Kerala
