afaik 478-pin proccies r not available any more.so ur best bet is to try and lay ur hand on a 2nd hand p4 2.4 or 2.8GHz 478-pin proccy.

2 Hand Is Not A Problem .

I Can Buy A New One Also .

So I Can Go For 3.6 Also . I Guess This Is A Last Processor In P4 Series . And Also Last For My Motherboard . Right

What About Hard-disk Can It Support 250 Gb .

Ram As Uptil 4 Gb . Ok

buy asus dual ram mobo p5VBX-MX supporting 800mhz core2due cpu. it has many benefits. runs on ddr1 and ddr2 ram, runs on P4 2.66- 3.8 both single core and dual core. Also core2duo upto 2.0 (800 mhz) supported.

my budget is as less it can be ?

arounD 15k ,

250 GB HARD-DISK IS NOT SO NECESSARY . I CAN GO UP WITH MY 40 GB .

MEANS I CAN LEAVE UPGRADING MY HARD-DISK .

BUT I WANT :-

DUAL CORE PROCESSOR

MOTHERBOARD WITH :-
1. GOOD INTEGRATED GRAPHICS FOR GAMES AND SUPPORTING VISTA ( I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING GRAPHICS CARD )
2. HIGH DEFINATION AUDIO
3. EVEN SUPPORTING QUAD CORE PROCESSORS
4. SUPPORTING 250 GB HARD-DISK AND ABOVE

AND ATLEAST 2 GB RAM

I Checked Motherboard Is Good Enough .

Are Graphics Good To Play All High Standard Games Like Nfs Carbon , Half Life 2, And All Other Games Without Any Hitches

Directx ???

And What About 2GB Ram ?

All This Three Will Be Under 15k

Give Me Each Individual Prices.

Asus P5B-VM = 7.2k
Proccy = 6-7.5k (depends on wat u buy)
so the result is ur left with no cash to buy ram.i'll suggest u either inc ur budget or forget bout C2D now.

2*1GB ddr2 667 Transcend = 2*2650

u cant xpect much from onboard gfx solutions.u can play most games but at low res.performance will degrade in games in Vista.

expect good gameplay only if u get a Gc.. The best option now is a 8600gt 4 10k but it has performance issues.. Better wait 4 ati dx10 cards to release..

I Went To The Dealer He Gave This Configuration.

C2d 1.8 Ghz = Rs 6200
Asus Motherboard P5vdc = Rs 2450
Dynate 512 Mb Ddr2 Ram = 1150

Is This Configuration Correct ?

Is This Prices Are Correct ?

Is Ddr2 512 Mb Ram Enough For Vista ?

Are The Graphics Of This Mother Board Enough For Vista And Latest Games .

My Budget Is Reduced To 10k .

Any Good Offer's In Same Budget .

All Sudgestion Are Invited .

If u need integrated graphics and can live up with a not so powerful processor,go for AMD system.

My recommendation is

AMD Athlon X2 3600 - Rs.3600
Mobo based on 690G - Rs.4000 (the best integ graphics in market)
Kingston DDR2 667 MHz 2GB - Rs.4400

Total : 12k but performance should be much better than ur above system due to more RAM and better integ graphics.(not in processor intensive apps).
