Question abt free PHPbb forum

Hulo said:

Free PHPbb forum like this are available from a number of providers. But anyone aware if images can be uploaded along with posts in any such forums? For example, in this forum, the IMG button will allow you to specify the URL of an image file, but I'm asking if images from the PC can be uploaded alongwith the post in a manner similar to the avtar image on the left.

i once tested...
www.phpbbserver.com forum software (i think you are talking about free...)
I think i have seen one feature in the administrator section, wheather to allow image upload or not....

@hulo yes you can.. provided it gives you FTP access.. @saharika phpbbserver is totally for a person who jus needs to b a admin of his/her forum.. u cant add any mods.. hacks.. smilies or themes.. anythin.. u cant even backup ya DB that sux a lot and when i contacted they said 25$ for backup!!!!!! @hulo use rohit's tut in the tut section and get ya own forum and hacks.. its far better

I prefer u to Integrate the Imageshack into your forum......Its just like installing a hack mod bt u need FTP acess to the forum for dat...

Imageshack offer free integration with forums, websites where users can upload images. The images will reside on their server bt will be linked automatically. Dats the best way and u will not get ur valuable bandwith to be wasted....

Visit this page >> *www.imageshack.us/syndicate.php and click on the blue phpBB link to get full details on how to do dat..

Good luck.

@cheetah thnx never knew bout this one..
