i had previously build two gaming pc's first with q9550 with e0 stepping and other with phenom ii x6 1090t. intel had abit ip35e mobo & 2x1gb ocz extreme + 2x2gb gskill pie DDR2 ram. when it died i build phenom ii x6 1090t black edition and Asus m4a88td-m evo mobo & corsair vengeance 4x4gb ddr3 ram. now both my motherboard are dead. right now i am using a low-key i3 4160t+ gigabyte h81m-s mobo +4x4 adata xmp ram .

i am wondering should i revive these two specially 1090t as its 6 core black edition & i can use both vengeance & adata ram to make it 16gb setup.

i have a 1050ti gfx so can play most AAA games at moderate setting but the processor it turning out to be bottleneck.

Please suggest.

note: i can slap a low-key zebronics mobo for c2q and make it workable.

Are Core 2 series sockets even in production? Why not get a more modern CPU + Mobo?

I am not sure if you will be able to find a motherboard for that 1090t, it's more than 10 years old by now. Perhaps you need to look for a second hard motherboard.
