Hi,

I would like to learn Proxy Administration, and I am pretty much a beginner in it. I was wondering if people can throw in some recommendations on open Source Proxies with not so very steep learning curve, and that can run easily on VMware Workstation or ESXi.

Edit : If there are trial based virtual appliance proxies too, that will suffice as long as the trial allows all features ( for limited duration).
Thanks.

+1 for Squid and Nginx.

Edit: Note that Squid is a caching web proxy while Nginx is a reverse proxy cum web server.
