Recycler virus!!! Help!

A friend of mine has the problem with this virus.

Any folder which i sent from my pc to a pendrive appeared normal in my pc but when it was plugged into my friend's pc the icon's of the folders changed into a shortcut icon but i can still open them. And there is a folder called "RECYCLER" which is also with a shortcut icon. When i took the pen drive and scanned it with avast from my pc.. ( i have attached a screenshot of the results....please see)..it found a WIN32:Malware -gen .. now i scan my friend's pc with avast and i get nothing in any of the drives...but the same thing continues to happen...

Any solution people?????

First install Microsoft Security Essentials in both PC's
Virus, Spyware & Malware Protection | Microsoft Security Essentials
Update
Get the latest definitions - Microsoft Malware Protection Center
Perform a Full Scan and also the pendrive, try to run the scan from SafeMode

U have to manually clean & restore the Pen Drive through Ms-Dos attrib command

Try avast boot time scan and Online scanners.

@justme101, give a quick scan with updated malwarebyte antimalware.
