Reddish yellow color on top right of display in Lenovo Vibe K5 Note

What is the reason for reddish yellow color in the image in the above link?
Initially I thought it was from screen protector but I don't see any such marks when display is off. Is it due because phone's display is old (phone is nearly 4 years old)? Can this be fixed?

I've had this before when the screen got too tightly packed in pocket.

In off chance it might be liquid damage too (sweat).
