I installed suse linux but now i want to remove it could someone tell me the step by step procedure to remove it and assign the space back to the f: drive my other os is windows Xp
boot into Windows XP and go to the Administrative Options.
select Computer Management, and under that, select Disk Management.
You will be shown the hard disk partition table.
Delete the partitions that XP says are "unknown file system / partitions"
reallocate that space to your F: drive
if you have Partition Magic, you can delete the Linux partition, format it as NTFS, then add it to your existing partition in Windows.. Then, to remove GRUB, boot from the WinXP CD, and boot into the recovery console. From the console, type
fixmbr
this will remove GRUB and restore the WinXP master boot record.
