Repair Xperia L VS New Redmi 1s

Above link was for the last query I had but my friend has cancelled his plans of buying Lg g3

Now I am left with 2 option either to repair my 1.5 yr old phone Xperia l which requires changing motherboard which would cost around 6k or buying new redmi 1s
