3) Is there any added advantage if i add switch to this setup ?
4) Which type of crimping should i used xover?

Note: Pls dont suggest Wireless card and such

1. 30m sud be fine. is it PC>>router>>internet and vice versa or are there other PCs connected to the router's LAN ports?

1)
a) Internet = PC ->Router>ISP
b) PC#1 is directly connected to Router with Short Cat5 cable [Router>PC]
c) PC#2 will b a Direct Connection from Router's Ethernet Port#2 to pc #2's Ethernet port [cable length =30m ]

2) Everything is done by me [only prob is i need crimbing tool

I found this guide 2b helpfull [crimbing , colour code, etc]
