Chernobyl Exclusion Zone has changed dramatically after the second massive explosion in year 2006. Violent mutants, deadly anomalies, warring factions have made the Zone a very tough place to survive. It turned out that the center of the Zone hides the source of incredible power. Nevertheless, artifacts of unbelievable value attracted many people called S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s, who entered the Zone for their own risk striving to make a fortune out of it or even to find the Truth concealed in the Heart of Chernobyl.

I haven't played the first one.

Heard the part 1 is awesome and Metro is inspired from Stalker :)

Most of 4A games employees were former developers of Stalker.

I dont know russian but I know what you are saying.
Cheeki breeki.

It's actually a part of a Russian nursery rhyme. It became popular because it's a part of bandit's speech in Stalker and it has spawned a lot of memes because of this.

In game (forward to 0:23):

I haven't bought it yet. Apparently reviews are mixed, mostly due to performance issues. Perhaps I'll wait for a couple of patches before thinking of getting.

I was thinking of trying it but performance optimisation seems poor, might take months or a year to get it into a better shape.

Starfield took almost 1 year to improve its performance & add 60fps mode to Series X. CP 2077 took almost 1.5 years to be in a good state. Dragon's Dogma 2 is another recent seemingly good game with optimisation issues, some say it is much better than at launch, but some are still saying its not good enough.
