They are probably banking on making the bezel very small to a point where it is almost non existent and offer something like EDGE to EDGE display and fit bigger screens in smaller form factors. Like they increased S4 screen size but the dimensions remains more or less the same or even bit less.

Hope they do this only.. I hate to see idiots holding a Tablet on their faces for making calls

I actually saw a girl the other day in a mall, holding possibly a Galaxy Tab 2 (or whichever samsung tab that was with phone feature) over her ear to talk. It was looking ridiculous.

I dont understand the logic. First they launch mini series phones now mega series phones. What's going on?

Touchwiz UI too boring.. Sammy has to try something new..

Just to cover all bases. To have maximum exposure and cater to customers keen on spending 5K for an android to one who can pay 40K too.
Because if they miss any segment in between, they fear that it will be captured by some other manufacturer.

That would be a decision any manufacturer like Samsung would take, but the problem with Samsung is that they are bringing $hitty phones trying to cover all areas.

Here's exactly how much bigger the Samsung Galaxy Mega is compared to the Note II, S4 and other popular smartphones

"I bet Mega's battery is bigger than iphone itself" -

There was a time when mobile phones were actually "mobile" . i think these companies are forgetting the meaning of " Mobile " phone.

For me, even a 4.3" screen is not comfortable for one handed use... let alone 5.8" and 6.3" screens...

Thing is my fingers are pretty big; using them on a 3.5" screen sometimes doesn't feel that great :p
4.5" is like the max one should have for phones. Lesser than that is better for the masses.

For my hands a 4" is ideal. Even a 4.5" sometimes feels big to me. And regarding 5.8" and 6.3" lolz no way I am using that. It would be bigger than one's head !!!!!

In the last statement, "screen" was not mentioned, only 4.5 inches is ideal :p

I think just like they have all those other smartphone siblings of the Galaxy series, these will be the siblings of the Galaxy Tab or Note series.

What about people with big thumbs?:2cents:..I have an ATRIX 2 whose screen size is 4.3" but when I type with my thumb I press 2 keys at the same time and the message becomes something else. I have to retype the damn message again.:D..I think a phone with 5" screen with big keys in the keypad is ideal.
