I want to wake my Laptop from hibernate mode at 2:10am each day and then hibernate at 7:50am each day. How do I do?

Also, I want to start my modem Nokia Siemens C2110 for BSNL DataOne once the laptop wakes up and then turn it off when the laptop hibernates? How Do I do?

If I kept the modem turned on when the laptop is in hibernate mode, will there by any data usage, I mean, will there by any charge?

1. Auto Power On and Shut Down by lifsoft
2. put it in pppoe mode, then use a batch file to connect.

Another simpler solution is to use free download manager (with pppoe) which supports configurable tasks for uses like connecting on a specified time, disconnecting/shutdown on a specified time/completion of all downloads (besides being an excellent tool for managing downloads, even from torrents)... you just will have to keep you laptop on till 2; but still you can put it on powersave mode, which should be enough for downloading also.
