Hey. I have a SE w810i. I need to keep reminders but the reminder just plays a breif sound and shuts up. I would really like it to work like an alarm clock that displays a message or in other words like a nokia phone's reminder.

Can I do this?

Also, how can i change the alert?

In SE phone you'll just get a short tone. If you want a longer alert use the alarm function. I prefer to use alarms in my W710i. There are five in my phone, but you'll probably have just one in your W810i.

Yeah there is only one. But how do you remember why you kept the alarm in the first place??

And isn't there some kind of software you can install?

This is a really critical thing for me.

i think your phone has Tasks option make us of it
or else make use of appoint ments

for my phone The Tasks feature is cool, but sadly the task reminder tone volume is really low
so i hacked the FS and replaced the tone with another louder tone .. now its great.. I never forget Task to be done !!

I don't know about W810i but my W710i allows a small text to be saved which is displayed when the alarm sounds. You can put the reason for the alarm in that. It might be there in your phone too. Just press the right arrow key while in the alarm settings.
