I dont know how it fairs against the dell 22", but i recently bought a Viewsonic vx2235wm-5 for 12.9k and am pretty satisfied with it :)

Wow, that's a great price. Recently, I was quoted 16,500 for it. Can you pass the email ID of the Dell rep?

@sagargv:
Reduce your colour settings to R90 G90 B90, set your sharpness at 40-50% and enable Cleartype. That should do the trick for you.

Enjoy your purchase. You got it at a great price. I got min for Rs. 15,542/- On delivery in Trivandrum.

I have a real strange feeling this monitor is going to become a really popular item.

thanks dude.that helped a lot. WOW , now i'm really liking this monitor. . die hard 4.0 1080p trailer was simply fabulous. and i can read text nearly with as much ease as CRT. . any more good settings are welcome.
