Buy Tipo. It's quite a lot better than Galaxy Y.
neither. increase budget to around 12-15k then think about upgrading. Ninja 4 will actually be a downgrade and Tipo will be a small upgrade not worth it.

mini pro cost 12-13k. mini cost 9.5-10k and is a nice piece but screen will remain same. If you are upgrading better do an all round upgrade with bigger display also.
Is there really any point buying the Defy Plus now thats Motorola is pulling out of India? in case something goes wrong, you'll have to live with a brick.

@OP listen to Sam, get the huawei or wait till you can increase your budget. If you want a significant upgrade in your budget get the xperia mini..but be vary of the 3 inch screen.

take memory out and insert it into some other mobile, transfer rom, insert the memory card back in your Y and flash.

i guess u r using ussr rom...
i encountered the same problems.
first of all change the rom to either evolution 2.1 or hyperion ..awesome roms.repencis is also good.
how i fixed it was used a blackberry charger.then placed it in raw rice for a night then it started charging properly.
then i immediately switched back to repencis.
Took my phone to CC and they said some chemcal spilt on my phone....Gonna go tmmr and see what happend
