@OP
Why no L9?

Simple, its not compact........ I was getting a 2 month old Galaxy Note for 23.5k (3 months ago), but instead I bought new S2 @ 23.5k because Note is big !!!

or wait for Galaxy S2+

it'll be priced at 20k at launch and should replace S Advance.

Maybe due to low internal memory & inability to move apps to sd card.

i doubt if apps can be moved to memory card in case of S Adv but if the internal memory is partitioned properly, it'll help. LG should have dedicated whole of 2.5GB for internal app storage.

S Advance has 16GB Internal Storage.

Usually i refrain from suggesting L9 to others as I own onemyself, and maybe i might be unknowingly unfairly biased, but I really see no point in chooisng S Advance over L9

L9 4.7" is hardly much larger than S Advance at 4". and at 9 mm it's quite thin and compact.

Biggest con of L9 is Low Internal Memory, only if you're planning to install HD games.

But you can move apps to SD card by rooting or with help of some 3rd party apps. Isn't it?

Well I would assume rooting is not a viable option for everyone.

^^ If people reject L9 only because of that, rooting is an viable option IMO

Yes biggest con of L9 is its hard to root. Btw. what LG get by locking the boot loader??

^^ lol. But seriously, not everyone cares about that. My sister is pretty much happy with the phone and don't have any complaints at all.

But think about guys 2.3gb is not enough for installing hd games or other apps. I just need to root and wanna swap the memory.

Yes that sucks. But i guess we have some app to move apps to sd card w/o rooting the phone.

Oh, need to dig a lot and see if there is any workaround w/o rooting.

S Advance was available for around 13-14k on various websites like Indiatimes, infibeam but I guess the deal is not there anymore.
But I would rather suggest you to wait for sometime and when some new ones arrive then grab one.

Sorry to say but I can't experiment with phone. This is something which I'll be keeping with myself for long .
Am not the one who changes mobiles and sims in a year or two .
S advance with the current price tag seems VFM cell.
Am not going to play high end games; my desktop and lappy can play better games ;)
And don't know what to say but for me LG something means LCD, fridge etc ;) not mobiles.

And yes one last question : if anybody has updated to jelly bean then reviews are highly appreciable :) pros/ cons after update ?
