guys i bought htc sensation 2 days back and I am facing some issues already.when i insert vodafone sim card it says NO sim card but bsnl is working fine please help me in this regard

get it checked by service centre as your mobile is brand new....

try scratching/cleaning up the dividers between sim card contact points a little with a blade(Very Gently). Had same problem on my Galaxy R. It worked. Maybe u can give a try too.

looks like a common problem in many Androids. in my mobile BSNL sim doesn't work but Airtel works just fine. Check the backside of your sim. a number will be written (32K, 64K or 128K). if Vodafone sim's memory is not same as the BSNL on,e go to Vodafone customer center and request them an appropriate sim. should work after that.
