I am looking for a small and slim android smartphone.
I dont want an underpowered phone.

Any suggestions?

Preferably the phone should have good battery life and also be open for rooting and other hacks.

Budget is within 20K.
Xperia Mini is definitely on my mind. Any other comptetitors?

What is the difference between xperia mini and xperia x10 mini?

The reason is ask is because of
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini - xda-developers

The title says x10 mini.

X10 mini was Sony Ericsson's 1st gen Android mobile. Xperia Mini is 2nd gen and successor to X10 mini. X10 mini is underpowered, slow and buggy. and lastly was overpriced.
You can also look for Xperia Ray @ 3.3" with really high resolution display and camera.

I wish to have something small and good then get Xperia Ray.
And if you need something good at a good price then consider Sony Live With Walkman

Ridiculous demands for such a budget.
U can get the Xperia Arc S/Xperia Sola/Xperia Ray at the price.
The Xperia Mini borders on "Fat".
