Can anyone pls tell me out of the following (original) software which ones have the irritating feature of activating over the net?

3. Windows XP Professional
4. Office 2007
5. Office 2003 Student and Teacher Edition

Pl tell why? I thought XP Pro also can be activated over net. I am asking since I got an OEM XP Pro with my new office PC and it is yet to be installed.

A web search also revealed that XP Pro requires activation just like XP Home. Also why should MS exempt XP Pro only?

Check this link-> *labmice.techtarget.com/FAQ/winxpfaq.htm

Product Activation is only required on the retail and some OEM versions of Windows XP and not on the volume licensing program that most businesses use.
