Hi, I have got a old Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150 TV Tuner card without any disc and remote etc. I would like to watch and record TV in my computer. I have a Airtel DTH. Please suggest me a good software to view and record at high resolution. Freeware prefarable but won't mind spending some bucks if its really good.

PS: Will XBMC do the trick?

Still no help :?:

No response still. Guys please help. Nobody owns a TV Tuner here???!!!

try these freewares ;-)

GB-PVR mediacentre. TV, Music, Video, Pictures, DVD - great interface and homepage ;-)

DScaler - Home

MsDVR 2000 - MAKSIL.COM - Download Site Beta

Recording stuff from TV (Airtel DTH) = illegal. Mods, do I need to say anything else?

^^ are you serious?!! its not at all illegal unless you are recording copyright shows and uploading it on the internet. then tata sky+ should be illegal too! you can record anything on TV for personal use.

@OP i used intervideo winDVR for my TV tuner to watch and record stuffs.

me also need some free software, thanks for the free software links...... surely try it....

@topgear & nims11: Thanks guys. Will have a look into the software you mentioned.

@sygeek: For personal viewing its not illegal, the moment you publish it in any form, it becomes illegal.
