That depends on the Licensing agreement of the concerned softwares ..If the Licence entitles you to make copies and distribute them then there is no harm .. else its illegal ..

its that part of the software that we never read! remember " plz read before continuing"and blah blah blah.
its generally so lenghty and so got damn boring that we just skip that.
anyways go thorugh it and u will find out.
freewares are generally free to distribute"freely". mind u - freely- u cant charge a price for it.
so when u are selling a cd and u price it at Rs50 say which includes the charge of Rs4 for the ABC free software, then u r violating the terms.
thoigh it is not for all freewares but most of them have the abovementioned condition.

Should have rather mentioned it as "free" :D

I believe Digit wont cost 100 bux if it weren't for the DVD. At max it would be Rs 60. And is it gonna cost more from next month?

But, most of the softwares that I intend to sell does not have a license agreement in it.

Umm.. Ethically you shouldnt be selling something that you got for free .. You should ask the permission of the authors before distributing them on cds and charging people to have them ..
