Hello Everyone!!!

Guys I am facing a very strange problem in our LAN. There is a Wire Providing connecting between two switches.

Problem is that it works fine when first time i connect wire on both end but after two or three days there was no signal of data transfer and there was no connectivity between the computers. I put the plug in different slots but still problem was same.

Then i cut from one end and put another connector onthe cable. After that again it worked fine for 2-9 days. Then again it stopped. Again i did same thing as i did before.

So every time i m doing this. Can u guys please suggest me what should i do to get rid of this problem?

Thanks

Which cable are you using Is it cat5 cross over utp or something else,if so which topology and what's the distance between switches and systems connecting them, because signal may drop if distance is more than the capacity you need an repeater or signal feeder
