SCreem is great and a good subsitute of frontpage. It is acronym of Site creating and editing environment. There are others too e.g. Quanta in Gnome.

OpenOffice.org will let you save in .htm format and won't bloat the file size with bulls**t like MSWord.

You mean to say PHP, dont you??
If you have a habit of Dreamweaver or the likes, then stick to it.. Mozilla/OO/Quanta/Bluefish are not up to the mark for you in that case..

hmmm...i see no1 has mentioned NVu
A complete Web Authoring System for Linux Desktop users as well as Microsoft Windows and Macintosh users to rival programs like FrontPage and DreamWeaver.

Nvu (pronounced N-view, for a "new view") makes managing a web site a snap. Now anyone can create web pages and manage a website with no technical expertise or knowledge of HTML.

visit this page for the features: *www.nvu.com/features.html
