recently i tried Street Fighter X [tekken] ..
and am quite addictive to it ..
suggest me some similar kind of game with good graphics,
that would run smoothly on
Core 2 Duo processor,
4GB RAM,
ATI RADEON HD 4570 graphics ..

Regards :)

Not really an Arcade type of game, but you might like Super Meat Boy. It's a platformer. You'd need Xbox 360 controller though.

yeah. It's a 2D game. You can play it with the keyboard if you want. A friend of mine completed it with the keyboard.

super meat boy is really hard without a controller. it's nice game though.

also try super crate box. it's very challenging.

^+1 to Super Crate Box. Some would say it's as hard as Meat Boy. Try it, OP, it's free as well.

You may want to look at dustforce. Although not quite as 'actiony' as the other games mentioned here it is worth your time and has an amazing soundtrack. Bit. Trip Runner 2 is also highly recommended. 1 is also good, but has no checkpoints and is frustratingly difficult. Sonic and All Stars Racing transformed is also quite great if you are into arcade action racers.

Since you are into fighting, I'd recommend Guilty Gear Accent Core.

@ico I actually prefer KB for SMB :)

Try Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition :)

Not exactly arcade, but platformers- Trine and Trine 2 by Frozenbyte. AMAZING games.

Guilty gear series is good as an arcade fighter. I play guilty gear X sometimes. Sould badguy is my fav in the series.

Also try BlazBlue Calamity Trigger. Its great and beats guilty gear.

I agree. I have the Taito Type X2 version of the BlazBlue games (they run native on windows). Goddamn it is awesome! But I'd suggest any legit purchasers to get the PS3 version of Continuum Shift EXTEND.

No point in getting Calamity Trigger because Continuum Shift EXTEND includes it as a part of the game apart form some other updgrades, and Chrono Phantasma should get released this year.

I also have the Taito Type X/X2 versions of other fighters which I tried out before I got the Street Fighter games for my PS3.

My vote goes to Super Meat Boy though. Although insanely difficult but it's worth all the effort.
. A friend of mine completed it with the keyboard.

I will soon join that legendary list very soon(although I'm not even half done with the game :p )

Err, Off-topic, but I didn't want to create another thread.

I want to buy 2-3 games. I don't like survival horror or war based games.

Great graphics and great gameplay. I'm playing BioShock-Infinite, so you can get the drift.
I haven't played any single-player games in a long time before this.

Please Reply.

Why didn't you suggest:
Far Cry
Batman Arkham City
Tomb Raider
Crysis 3
Skyrim
Max Payne 3
Dirt 3
L.A. Noire ?

well, i usually don't think of AAA titles when someone asks to recommend games unless they specifically ask for em.

maybe this helps?

Get Street Fighter 4, if you haven't already. Sadly there aren't many arcade fighters on PC. You can emulate the boat load of quality fighters that are there on PS1,PS2 like Tekken. on your PC. But if you want something native, I guess you are just left with Street Fighter 4.

And then, there is Mortal Kombat 2. It is a pretty old game, but very good one.

try the Mysterious Case Files (13th Skull, Dire Grove, Escape from Ravenhearst, Return to Ravenhearst, Shadow Lake) as well as Mystery of the Ancients (Curse of the Black Water, Lockwood Manor). graphics is not great but most of them have some really tricky puzzles and story specially 13th Skull.

For arcade action try BloodDragon and play it on low settings
