1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
75k-80k

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
Mainstream; 13", 15" - 16" screen

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
web browsing, programming , gaming

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Basically around 8GB or more RAM, an 5th Gen i7 or similar processor

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
I have taken look to below models from Dell which has similar configuration
Inspiron 13 7000, New Inspiron 15 5000 series, New Inspiron 15 7000 series.
May can look to other vendor which provide similar configuration.

6) Anything else you would like to say?
Display should be full hd and battery life is a must
Would want to avoid a laptop that heats up a lot
Not a big gamer but would want a future proof laptop which can play games at med settings for 2-3 yrs

5th gen i5s and i7s are all ULV ones for now. No point in spending that much on a dual core ulv i7 when you can get proper 4th gen quad core i7 at the same price.

When you take gaming into consideration, CPUs suddenly get less priority. With this budget, one shouldn't get anything below a 960M. I'd say wait for Lenovo Y50 refresh with 960M or ask for a quote from azom. I don't know if any of the dell laptops have 960M in this budget.

if you're looking for 5th gen CPU, consider only real mobile H/M processors. The U series ones have not much improvements.
At end of the day, your goals are programming and gaming, why not try for MSI Notebooks (in.msi.com)

The facebook page didn't talk about the release dates. Soon means it can 2-3 months or so.

2-way pick-up service for free under warranty for 2 years if bought locally. Imported MSI Notebooks get only 1 year international warranty and support from MSI India team. So it's recommended to buy locally to get full access to this. Details are in the website: MSI India - Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Motherboard, Graphics and more

Quarter 3 means in July stocks will be available already with our authorized partners. Hope this helps!
