Guys i need a dvd writer since my old one isn't working anymore

suggest me internal & external dvd writer.(i'll buy only 1 one of)
which 1 is better internal or external?

It depends on your mode of usage.Internals are always faster but not portable.

Internal:
Samsung SH-S223F ( Try and buy the non OEM one,the one that comes in a box packed with a Nero DvD) - Rs 1000

External:
