Hai Friends.
I am now a student of B.s.c Animation and Multimedia.(3yrs Degree)

I now need a good Graphic card for my PC to work in Photoshop,Avid,After effects,etc.

Please tell me the Best Graphic Cards Available now.

My System has a Intel Q6000 Processor and Intel DG45ID Mother Board with 2gb Ram and 500 GB Hard Disk.

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question, but I had to ask this:
Which processor id Intel Q6000? Do you mean core2quad Q6000?

i think its Core2Quad Q6600.

please don't buy any entry level pro card (ati firepro or nvidia quadro fx) as our maya facilty suggest to buy a gaming card between 6-10 depend on your budget , either gforce 250 512 mb or ati 5670/5770 depend on your budget . Go for a mid level pro card only if your budget allows which will cost around 25 k.
