Biostar is good for normal use but some sites are reporting taht it's FETs (transistor) are overheating and mobo freezing on overclocking to high values.

Could you put the links of those claims?

just do "biostar ta790gx a2+ freeze" and you will find numerous posts about the same.

Problem is that to cut down production cost, they use bit cheap FETs which are unable to stay cool (could be a reason why a crossfire mobo is available for 5k)
