A. 20k max

2. Display type and size?
A. any

3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip?
A. any

4. Preferred choice of brand?
A. no specific brand

5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type).
A. any of the above

6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera.
A. Min 8 megapixel camera with flash, auto focus

7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A.no windows phone other options will do

8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly.
A. 3G, WIFI,Bluetooth

9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)?
A.

10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)?
A. clicking photos, i listen a lot of music, some times internet

11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?
A. no

12. Any other info that you want to share
A. battery backup should be good, min 10 to 15 hours of music playback in one charge, phone should be able to click good quality pics

If u can increase ur budget a little bit then go for Desire S its really a very good phone.

^^^ buddy at least look at his need - 8MP+ camera & should be able to click good quality pics
Desire S has none of these, a 5MP (HTC) cam :)

Also he has to increase his budget by 3k, whereas by adding just 1k he can go for Nokia N8

Well, not enough options for - Android phone with 8MP camera in 20k. Only two phones with 8MP camera (which I think are under 20k) are - SE Xperia X10 and Motorola Milestone XT720. But both aren't recommended.
You have to compromise with "good camera " part for "good android" part to keep the deal under your budget :-D

BTW, there is another phone available - SE Xperia Neo with almost same price and specs as Desire S, but with 8MP cam.

The 5Mp camera is also good buddy and Desire S is a great phone.
I won't suggest N8 coz it has a damm slow processing and also hangs a lot,otherwise I agree that it is the best camera phone.
And OP can also get it for 2K less from letsbuy with the help of the coupon.
