You could also have a look at Logitech G500 has many buttons but the ergonomics aren't which will be loved by all. Razer Imperator remains my choice and would also save you some bucks to get a decent mouse pad.

@ico but Deathadder has a low DPI..if he doesn't want too many buutons the abyssus will suffice..what do you think??

@Nancy that recommendation was as per your budget...if you are new into gaming than you may want settle with a cheaper yet good mice..
But if you are really gonna dig deep into this genre than the Imperator is, as I said, an awesome choice..
you can program all of the 7 buttons present on the mouse to your liking, keyboard keys or something else, including the left click and the right click buttons...
It helps if you are playing a game like assassins creed or something on PC..these games need too many buttons to work with...and do get a good mouse pad for it..preferably steel series or CM...roughly around $10-20...
and yes ssb is a nice guy:conspiracy:...

@ nancy101

You can also have a look at RAZER NAGA & RAZER LACHESIS. They cost same as the imperator. Naga is focussed in mmo's and has 17 programmable button while Lachesis is aimed at all genres including fps and rpg's & has a 60kb onboard synaptic memory.

All three cost the same at $79 in Razer official website. You decide according to your requirements.
