No man, this guy knows his stuff,i think he must have typed it by mistake (i had my hopes up :( )

And ,the FX 6300 won't limit the R9 280x from reaching 100% GPU core usage (aka bottlenecking), though something like an 8320 is better paired with the R9 280X and you will see additional FPS in games that use up to 8 cores.

if its 270x then its good to go with fx6300.. if going with 280x better spend 2-3k more and go with fx 8350.

I think you meant 8320,8350 is almost 5k expensive.

Anyway,op go with what cilus said.

and please mention your cabinet model.

if you are spending so much on a pc a good cabinet is a must
even a cheap one like nzxt gamma will do.

Re: Gaming Pc Parts Suggestion ??

@everyone; 280x was a type. Corrected.

With this rig iam gonna play all the nxt gen games !!

You can play all games at medium to high settings at 900p. If you feel slowdowns, overclock the chip.

Get rid of that crap. NZXT Gamma is far better in cable management potential, cooling and aesthetics.

I have suggested 270X, not 270.

Yeah i know but there's hardly 5 to 10% difference in their performance and i read somewhere by overclocking 270 can perform same as 270x

And you can overclock 270X to get performance level of 7950 or 760. It fits perfectly in your budget. Why do you want to go with an inferior card?

It will not bottleneck in most games except in few like skyrim,WOW,starcraft... even though it will deliver good gaming experience :)

WoW and Starcraft aren't a bit power hungry man.

WoW and Starcraft aren't a bit power hungry man.

WOW and Starcraft are Heavily Cpu bound games even though they only use 2 cores,it Loves Intel cpus due to better per core performance. Most of the Amd cpus bottlenecks in these games due to Poor Single threaded performance :wink:
