^Does N8 supports Anna...
Yes. All Symbian 3 models support it.
Ok..then it shud be a straight forward installation & wont need any tweaks to install...
Nope.
First you install the firmware. After that Anna is a 2-part affair S/W update via OTA.
I am doing direct phone install, not via PC.
Update:
Stupid update broke my phone. Its an unstable OS :wtf:
Now it cant install in PC properly and the unstable OS cant be reinstalled :rage:

Anyways. After using Anna for a few days, I think the interface is very good. Its not as sluggish as PR 1.0 and slightly faster than PR 1.1.
Good work on the UI by Nokia. A very slick interface indeed.

omg! symbian also supports Anna
Its the english Anna, a female name.
When I check the E6 which already has 'Anna', it says there is a update but it also clearly says that the update should be done thru the PC, doing it any other way might be risky.

How many times do I have to say its the female name in English/German/Swedish etc?
Just once. And I had read that buddy.
I was just saying that their launching this, "English/Swedish/German" named update to Android, may be more than just a coincidence!!
