system restore not working in xp

hey u posted the same question in QnA section.. reporting

right click my computers
open 'services'
ensure that ur 'systemrestore' services is started and is set on automatic.

again rt click my computers
in system properties, eclick on system restore tab
ensure that the 'turnoff systemrestore on all drives' is Unchecked.
