TDF Gaming Competition?

I was wondering if TDF people are interested in hosting a gaming completion ?
We surely have a lot of TF2 players here.

So what do you guys think ?

Cannot. Gaming has been stopped by me. Class 12.
Most gamers are either pursuing higher education[gameranand, nvidiageek,etc] or have tie ups like me.

by the way there was a great thread made by s18000rpm for a gaming event. Had a lot of details in it. So you might want to check that out.

s18 started a thread last time. No one was interested.

Guys Indian Gaming Carnival is being organised in Delhi i think (but many people are questioning the truthfulness of this event organiser called WTF events (WTF?), and many are assuming it to be a fraud.) Let's see what happens.

Yes even i would like to see an event hosted by The Team Digit themselves, it will be a real success and people will have the reliability of Digit. Looking forward to what the pros at Digit has to say on it.

Its FTP just download from steam. Simple. You need to have steam, You can't play this game without it.

Yup, its free, but you'll need to have the patience to siphon 10 gigs.

Don't waste your money. Just download the 10GB package from steam.

I wouldn't call it a waste. He will get extra games + the premium version of TF2 too.
Although you can upgrade yourself with a CC too :wink:

^^Yes the Half Life 2 and 2 episodes are bonus.Worth the money.
Still Downloading it from Steam is better option.

For that price you are getting 4 games and TF2 as a premium. What else do you want. If you want other games too buy it if not get it from steam. Very simple.

who the hell gets 3 gb patches? i never had any above 100 mb in size.... and i've been playing for almost an year

Battlefield match or killing floor co-op is fun. Perhaps Dota 2 too.

it's co-op survival. Zombies are not us. We are the squad surviving the zombies onslaught. Pretty good and funny british humor.

Oh yes, killing floor is great fun. No PVP , but the co-op itself is as challenging as **** on higher difficulty settings. Also has a "bullet-time" feature when someone pulls off an awesome kill. Best thing about Killing Floor is the class progression. So unlike L4D/L4D2 , you don't have access to good weapons immediately. Killing zombies and earning experience will let you unlock them.

Lots of zombie games came in after L4D,L4D2 but Killing Floor is the only one that I've found decent so far. Don't play it any more though.
